Building on a foundation of Navy service and 14 years of specialized experience in cleanroom construction and performance testing, this journey began in 1999 to provide expert certification and mechanical balancing services for diverse industries across the globe.

A Legacy of Expertise in Cleanroom Construction and Mechanical Systems
One Source Environmental was founded by Jeff Jimmo in July of 1999 and the company has operated continuously ever since.
After serving seven years in the U. S. Navy Submarine force, and Prior to starting One Source Environmental, our founder Jeff Jimmo worked as a project manager for a Cleanroom Construction Company (Comp-Aire) out of Grand Rapids Michigan. During this time Jeff developed a hands-on understanding of the intricacies associated with Cleanroom Construction which, unbeknownst to Jeff at the time, would be very valuable further down the road. As a turnkey provider of constructed cleanroom solutions Comp-Aire would not only construct these facilities but also balance all the HVAC & Mechanical systems using internal resources. This exposure to, and understanding of, Mechanical Testing & Balancing would also prove to have great future value.
After four years with Comp-Aire Jeff accepted an offer of a Field Technician position with a Cleanroom Performance Testing & Certification firm from Bethlehem, PA (AFM). AFM had been a subcontractor to Comp-Aire on several of the projects he was working on.
Jeff went on to spend the next 9 years with AFM starting as a Field Tech and rising to Project Manager devoted entirely to Cleanroom Performance Testing & Certification with projects ranging from 200 square foot labs to 200,000 square foot semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Jeff achieved NEBB CPT Certification for conduct of Cleanroom Testing in 1992, maintaining certification through continuing education requirements up and to Present. Project locations and Clients were varied from Life Science, Semiconductor, Aerospace, Defense, R&D, Food Manufacturing, Medical Device manufacturing, Plastics, Automotive and other and performed these services at facilities across the entire U.S. and even abroad.
By the time Jeff was ready to venture out on his own he had had almost 14 years of direct experience in Cleanroom Construction, HVAC & Mechanical Balancing as well as all facets of Cleanroom Performance Testing & Certification.
