Our Filtered Air Technology (FAT) Filter Fan Unit utilize state-of-the-art fan design and EC Control technology to deliver the best overall performance on the market. Filtered Air Technology offers standard 2×4 and 4×4 units typical in Cleanroom Manufacturing Facilities as well as custom sizes to meet unique applications such as clean manufacturing tools, and Mini or Micro controlled process environments.
Typically, power consumption is at least half of our competitive counterparts and it has been our experience that power companies provide attractive rebates especially when replacing larger installations of older FFUs. Because of the 3D curved impeller and the way it processes more air at a lower RPM, the sound levels produced are among the lowest on the market.
These units are light weight, and their module design makes them much easier to install and maintain than traditional one-piece units currently on the market. The housing, filter and fan/motor modules can all be replaced independently.
When the filter reaches its maximum recommended pressure drop or becomes damaged, or the fan approaches the 80,000 operational hour mark, these components can be replaced versus purchasing an entire new Filter Fan Unit.
These FFUs utilize Modbus communication protocol whereby large groups of FFUs can be connected to a PLC based single control system. Expensive “Proprietary” control systems are not needed and the user is never at the mercy of these types of systems as Modbus is a widely used and available open communication architecture.

We design and manufacture our own UL Listed (UL-E487854) FFUs. Our exclusive listing allows us to manufacture three configurable general sized groups (6.1, 8.1, & 16.1) with the ability to construct each with varying sizes while maintaining the overall UL Listing. This customization allows the end user to incorporate FFUs in ceiling systems, mini-environments, production tools as well as many other applications.
Our unique ability to provide a range of standard and custom sizes allows us to offer “direct replacement” products for aging or “Retrofit” Cleanroom installations. Sizing can be customized for specific projects such as work benches or Mini-Environments.
Our units are designed for 80,000 hours of continuous operation and typically exceed this longevity. The design allows for replacement of Motor & Fan modules or Final Filters without the need to replace the entire unit. In addition to the size variability and modular construction our EC power and 3-D fan design provides exceptional power savings and sound performance.
