Filter Bench Testing, Repair, or Replacement

Verify HEPA filter integrity before installation so you can protect cleanroom performance, reduce risk, and prevent costly disputes later in the certification process.

Pre-installation verification

Bench testing to document HEPA filter performance prior to installation

One Source Environmental offers HEPA Filter Bench Testing services to businesses installing new cleanrooms or conducting filter replacements and facility retrofits. Bench testing serves as an affordable insurance policy, documenting “as received” filter integrity prior to installation and enabling accurate performance comparison during “As-Built” cleanroom certification.

Why test HEPA filters before installation?

Through the process of filter bench testing upon receipt of new filters from a filter manufacturer, clients can definitively assign responsibility for costly filter damage should the damage occur during shipment from the manufacturer and/or after installation when filter damage is detected during cleanroom certification.

How bench testing helps prevent disputes

Bench Testing documents product quality after receipt and prior to installation and is regularly used to assign responsibility and prevent disputes resulting from discovery of defective filters.  If you receive defective filters from the manufacturer, you’ll want to discover and document this prior to installation.  Similarly, if you detect damaged filters after installation, you’ll be able to document that they were performing normally prior to the installation activity.

Filter bench testing at a glance:

  • Verifies HEPA filter integrity prior to installation
  • Supports accurate post-installation performance comparison
  • Helps assign responsibility for damaged or defective filters
  • Reduces disputes during cleanroom certification
  • Protects project schedules and certification outcomes
